The Rockland County YMCA was proud to celebrate Healthy Aging Day on Wednesday, October 7th, bringing our community together for a special day dedicated to health, wellness, and staying active at every stage of life.

How the YMCA helped Theano turn a commitment to healthy aging into 18 years of strength, activity, and community.

The Rockland County YMCA recently welcomed families from across the community for a successful Bike Day, an event dedicated to helping children build confidence, learn essential biking skills, and experience the joy of riding in a safe and supportive environment.

Participants enjoyed a day filled with friendly competition, networking, camaraderie, and community spirit, all while supporting a cause that makes a meaningful difference in the lives of local families.

We set out expecting about 100–120 diners — and instead, 212 members, friends, families, and supporters came out in full force. That kind of turnout says everything about this community.
